Cookie notice
This page explains what cookies are, which ones Ridgehub Geotechnical Engineering School uses, and how you can change your choices.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help pages remember preferences or understand how the site is used. Similar local storage keys may be used for the same purposes.
How we use cookies
We use essential cookies and storage keys to remember your cookie preference and keep basic site functions working. If you accept analytics cookies, we may measure aggregated visit patterns to improve navigation and course information pages. Rejecting analytics does not block access to course content or enquiry forms.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| ridgehub_cookie_consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until cleared (localStorage) | Ridgehub (first party) |
| ridgehub_session | Maintains essential security and load-balancing for page requests where enabled by hosting | Session | Ridgehub hosting (first party) |
| _rh_analytics | Optional aggregated visit counts for popular course pages (set only after Accept) | 6 months | Ridgehub (first party) |
Managing cookies
Use the Accept or Reject buttons on our banner when it appears. You can also delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may reset your preference banner on each visit but will not remove access to published course information.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; that request may allow Google to receive technical connection data subject to their policies. We do not load third-party advertising cookies.
Impact of disabling
Disabling optional analytics simply means we receive less information about which guides are helpful. Essential preference storage, if cleared, will cause the banner to appear again.

Personal data handling is described in our privacy notice.
